Care and Keeping
How to love your whipped tallow well
Our whipped tallow is made in small batches with simple, nourishing ingredients and no unnecessary fillers. Because it's a natural product, a little extra care helps preserve its soft, airy texture and keeps each jar at its very best.
Keep out of direct heat
Tallow is naturally sensitive to warmth. To help maintain its whipped texture, store your balm in a cool, dry place away from direct sun light, hot cars, heaters, or steamy windowsills.
If melting happens, don't worry.
Because our balms are made with natural tallow, they may soften or melt in warmer temperatures. This doesn't harm the product or it's skin-loving benefits-it simply changes the texture.
If your balm softens:
- Place your jar upright at room temperature or in a cool spot until it firms back up.
- If needed, you can refrigerate it briefly to help it reset.
Please note: once a whipped balm melts, it may lose some of its original fluffy texture and settle into a smoother consistency, but it is still perfectly usable.

avoid introducing water
Natural variations are normal
To keep your balm fresh and happy, avoid getting water inside the jar. Use clean, dry hands or a spoon (like the one included in your package) to scoop out product as needed.
Because each jar is handcrafted in small batches, slight differences in color, texture, or scent may occur from time to time. That's part of the beauty of truly handmade skincare.
a little goes a long way
store with the lid tightly closed
Our whipped tallow is rich, concentrated, and deeply nourishing. Start with a small amount and warm it between your fingers before applying to skin.
Keeping the lid sealed between uses helps protect the balm from moisture, dust, and everyday exposure.
